Take Part In (W)E Pluribus Unum | NPR
National Public Radio has created a project to tell the stories of people who are doing big and small acts of serving. (You can nominate your friends, neighbors and community members here.)
“The story is about good deeds — people actively helping people. We are looking for examples of folks working creatively to serve others. A soup kitchen. A building project. An after-school program. We’re calling this project Participation Nation. It’s a cooperative effort about cooperative efforts.”
Each week, we share an inspiring quote about generosity. This week is from Mother Teresa: “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” You can share this quote image (click here if you’re reading this post via email) on Facebook, Pinterest or anywhere!
